Since I was a child in Cuba, I always felt pregnant with God, with ideas.

When I later discovered that the root of the word “Enthusiasm” came from the ancient Greek “entheos”—meaning “possessed by or filled with God”—everything clicked into place for me.

That constant feeling of being filled with creative energy had a name.

Yay!

What others saw as restlessness in me was actually enthusiasm in its truest sense; I was simply allowing my body to become filled with the creative force that pulses through the cosmos.

It was electric!
It IS electric!!
It will always be electric!!!

Growing up in Cuba, where religion had been forbidden, this was the closest thing to God I had. I felt this divine creative pregnancy as a tangible force, an undeniable presence that would eventually birth itself into reality through my creations, if I was successful, of course, which wasn’t often, since I had so many immature parts.

However, now that I’m about to turn 51, I’m wiser with my creations.

Now I see each project as a child, something that I must commit my attention to from conception to completion. Then, after that, I can release it as a blessing to the world, as an offering to support Life, Evolution, and The Reality Creation Process.

Oh, and I hope you know I’m not just talking about art or writing or music. I’m talking about the fundamental act of creating reality itself. Whether you’re organizing a spreadsheet, preparing a meal, or deciding how to respond to a friend’s message, you’re engaging in the sacred act of reality creation. Each decision, each action is like a brushstroke on the canvas of existence.

Even the simple act of choosing what to wear is you actively participating in the shaping of the world.

That’s the power of you!

I propose we try to
make every nanosecond beautiful!
make them fun!
make sure they are electric!!!

Because, if it “does not bring you alive. is too small for you,” as David Whyte would say.

1. Inspiration:
We get pregnant with an idea (East | Air)

2. Resourcing:
We gather all the resources we need to bring the idea into form (North | Earth)

3. Containment:
We create a container to give of our lifeforce to that project for as long as it takes (West | Water)

4. Completion:
We release it with pride and joy into the world (South | Fire)

Let’s look at an obvious example:

Creating a Painting:

1. Inspiration (East | Air)

The image comes to you in a dream—colorful figures dancing in moonlight. Your mind buzzes with possibilities for colors and composition.

2. Resourcing (North | Earth)

You gather your materials: stretching the canvas, arranging your paints, choosing the right brushes. You clear space in your studio, set up proper lighting, and block out time in your schedule. (Time is a resource. If we don’t have time, we can’t create.)

3. Containment (West | Water)

You show up to the canvas each day, giving your loving energy to the piece. You work through challenges, make adjustments, stay with the process, following the guidance of your intuition, your Muse. And every day you hold space for the painting to evolve.

4. Completion (South | Fire)

Then, when you feel strong and ready, you bring your work into the world. You can’t wait to show it to people. You are now filled with pride and joy. It is touching peoples'’ lives with its beauty. It is bringing you money from the studio, it’s exposing your soul to many people… you are now exhausted but proud.

And the creative journey continues, with its cyclical nature.

Now translate that simple process to you.

What are you good at creating?

I know someone who creates beautiful spreadsheets; I know someone who creates the most healing motherly container ever.
I know another who moves their body and every other body wants to move.

Here’s another angle:

What brings you into flow?
Flow, that’s what we really want.
it’s amazing! I want us spending our nanoseconds in flow. I should put that into my mission. I should sing hymns to Flow.

I bow to Flow!

Because when you find your flow, you’re almost Home.

But it’s hard to get to flow with trauma taking residency in the body. Her role is to alert you intensely, not to let you surrender into blissful Flow and forget about her and forget all about her and learn nothing from life. Goodness no! Evolution is smarter than that. So if we want to go into that blissful place we gonna need to look at that alertness or that depression; or at whatever is so dense that is bringing the electricity down and keep you from softly skating in the silver waters of Her Great Highness, Flow.

No, before you need to find Safety, Satisfaction, and Consolation to calm and nourish that Creature.

And to do that you need, The Mothers.
